Martha Marie Runnels Bowling, 82, of Campbell, Mo., died Wednesday, April 13, 2005, at the Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Ark.
Born Dec. 15, 1922, in Campbell, daughter of the late George Arthur and Aretta Lee Runnels, she was a homemaker, a secretary and a member of the Campbell General Baptist Church.
On June 28, 1941, in Campbell, she married William Monroe Bowling, who preceded her in death on April 13, 2003. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Billie Fern Bowling and unnamed twins.
Survivors include one daughter, Suetta Bowling Veatch; one son, Gary M. Bowling; one sister, Avanell Morton, of Springfield, Mo.; four grandchildren, Tamara M. Gowin, Wilson M. Bowling, Rebecca V. Hays and Christopher L. Veatch and nine great-grandchildren, Garrett, Mason, Jacob and Hailey Bowling, Corey and Zach Gowin, Raven Morphis and Taylor and Carson Hays.
Visitation will be from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today, Thursday, April 14, at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 15, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Earl D. Dell officiating.
Burial will follow at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Campbell.
