Lottie Mae Blackshear, 87, of Paragould, Ark., died Friday, April 8, 2005, at Paragould.
Born April 7, 1918, in Elpaso, Ark., daughter of the late Walter and Emma Cordell, she was a nurse and of the Pentecostal faith.
She married Robert O. Blackshear, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Bill Cordell and three sisters, Virgie Sumler, Mammie Grigsby and Charlene Long.
Survivors include one son, Rev. Jay Blackshear and wife, Betty, of Anchorage, Alaska; one daughter, Pat Warren and husband, Don, of Rector, Ark.; one brother, Rev. Louie Cordell, of Rector; four sisters, Donna Edwards, of Paragould, Dorthy Byrd, of Fort Smith, Ark., and Louise Shelton and Myrtle Furgerson, both of Rector; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 11, at the Solid Rock Church in Kennett with Revs. Zack Parr and brother Carroll McGruder officiating.
Burial was in the Woodland Heights Cemetery at Rector.
Mitchell Funeral Home of Rector was in charge of arrangements.
