T.J. Rose, 51, of Bragg City, Mo., died Thursday, March 31, 2005, at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti, Mo.
Born April 1, 1953, in Arkansas, son of the late Frank Rose Sr., and Ethel Walker Brown Rose, he was employed at the Loxcreen Company in Hayti and was of the Baptist faith.
On June 26, 1977, he married Laura Childress, who survives of the home.
Survivors also include three sons, Tyrone Rose and wife, Virginia, of Gobler, Mo., and Derrick Rose and wife, Angela and Thomas Rose and wife, Nikki, all of Kennett; two daughters, Kristy Rose, of Kennett and Tammy Thomas, of Ripley, Tenn.; four brothers, Tommy Brown and wife, Loretta, of Louisville, Ky., Frank Rose and wife, Dorothy, of Gobler, Daniel Rose and wife, Darlene, of Caruthersville, Mo., and Alexander and wife, Janice, of Boston, Mass.; two sisters, Lillie Rose, of Kennett and Ida Childress, of Bragg City and five grandchildren, Quamayne, Timothy, Tomanesha and Ityonna Rose and Meyata Thomas.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Sammy Brown and Jo Arthur Rose and one grandchild, Tyrone Rose Jr.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today, Friday, April 8, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 9. at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. C.M. Clayburn officiating.
Burial will follow at the Gobler Cemetery.
