Mae Helen Pogue, 62, of Hayti, Mo., died Thursday, March 31, 2005, at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti.
Born Sept. 30, 1942, in Pascola, Mo., daughter of the late Rev. George T. and Annie Mae Hunt Fletcher, she was a housekeeper at University Hills Christian Campus.
On Dec. 15, 1959, she married Earnest Pogue, who survives of the home.
Survivors also include six children, Glenn Pogue and wife, Michelle, of Kennett, Michael Pogue and wife, Diane, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and Patricia Spruell and husband, Adrian, Cynthia Pogue, Earnest Pogue Jr., and wife, Nita and Mashalle Pogue, all of Denver, Colo.; four brothers, Eddie B. Fletcher and wife, Gwen, George T. Fletcher Jr., and Joseph Fletcher and wife, Joyce, all of Kansas City, Mo., and Larry J. Fletcher and wife, Connie, of Denver; five sisters, Ethel and Phillis Fletcher, both of Denver, Theada F. Williams and husband, Ronald, of Sikeston, Mo., Freda Butler, of Hayti and Deloise Brown, of Kansas City; 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one child.
Funeral services were held at noon, Wednesday, April 6, at the Faith Temple Church of God in Christ in Hayti with Pastor Joseph Fletcher officiating.
Burial was in the Portageville Cemetery at Portageville, Mo.
Pallbearers were Deon, Keith, Earnest Jr., Michael and Danny Pogue and Adrian Spruell.
John W. German Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
