Joey Rondle Fielder, 77, of Malden, Mo., died Saturday, April 2, 2005, at his residence.
Born Jan. 2, 1928, in Portageville, Mo., son of the late John Austin and Jennie Elizabeth Hawkins Fielder, he was employed at ACF and was a member of the Kimball Baptist Church in Malden.
On Oct. 5, 1945, he married Beatrice Mae Cathey, who preceded him in death on May 10, 1988. He later married Velma White Seay on April 11, 2003 in Piggott, Ark., who survives.
Survivors also include one daughter, Patricia Govro, of St. Peters, Mo.; three brothers, Jimmy Fielder, of Martinsville, Ind., Lester Fielder, of DeSoto, Mo., and Carl Fielder, of Benton, Mo.; one sister, Virgie White, of Dudley, Mo.; seven grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Bennie Thornton; four sisters, Kathleen Corgan, Olive Wells, Mary Magdaline White and Collene Fielder and five brothers, Burl, Harold, Mayo, Harley and Gale Fielder.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 4, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Malden with the Rev. Jack Allen officiating.
Burial was in the Stanfield Cemetery at Clarkton, Mo.
