William D. Brown, 79, of Kennett, died Friday, March 25, 2005, at National Health Care in Kennett.

Born May 22, 1925, at St. Genevieve, Mo., a son of the late Herbert J. and Bessie Houck Brown, he served with the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.

On July 27, 1947, he married Willie Glen Miller who survives.

Other survivors include two sons, David Brown and Duane Brown, both of Memphis, Tenn.; one brother, Fred J. Brown of Cahokia, Ill., three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Virginia Rottler.

Visitation will be 12:30 p.m. Monday, March 28, at McDaniel Funeral Service in Kennett, until time of services at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Don Slatton officiating.

Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett.
