Harriett B. Braswell, 84, of Kennett, died Thursday, March 24, 2005, at National Health Care in Kennett.
Born Nov. 19, 1920, in Morrilton, Ark., daughter of the late William Dan Campbell and Florence A. Shipp, she was a member of the Slicer Street Church of Christ.
She married Everett Gilliam, who preceded her in death and she later married John O. Braswell, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Bill, Loys and E.C. Campbell and four sisters, Della Wills, Helen Ranneburg, Jeraldine Campbell and Jeanette Meadows.
Survivors include one son, Keith Gilliam, of Kennett; two daughters, June Furlow, of Kennett and Judy Bush, of Deering, Mo.; two sisters, Ruth Hawkins, of Kennett and Shirley Bowie, of Greenbriar, Ark.; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today, Friday, March 25, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 26, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with Spencer Furby officiating.
Burial will follow at the Lulu Cemetery in Senath, Mo.
Pallbearers are Jason Gilliam, William Loggins, Damon Bush, David and Larry Meadows and Gary Bush and Steven Bush.
