Aline Lockhart, 73, of Cape Girardeau, Mo., died Sunday, March 20, 2005, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Born Aug. 24, 1931, in Octa, Mo., daughter of the late Claude and Cora White Austill, she was a homemaker and a member of the First General Baptist Church in Malden, Mo.
On April 14, 1951, in Piggott, Ark., she married Burgess Anderson "Andy" Lockhart, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Hershell, Herman, Clifford and Ralph Austill.
Survivors include one daughter, Donna Thornbrough, of Malden; one son, Gary Lockhart, of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Lorene Russell Kubite, of Gatewood, Mo., and Doris smith, of Barnhart, Mo.; one brother, Cy Austill, of Malden and one granddaughter, Heather Thornbrough, of St. Louis, Mo.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today, Tuesday, march 22, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Malden with the Rev. Neil Knierim officiating.
Burial was in the Memorial Park Cemetery at Malden.
