Jennie Lind Roth, 85, of Malden, Mo., died Wednesday, March 16, 2005, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter.
Born Nov. 26, 1919, in Tuckerman, Ark., daughter of the late Charles Spurgeon and Trella Victoria Sorrells Smith, she taught with the 4H program in New Madrid County and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Malden.
On Feb. 16, 1941, in Columbia, Mo., she married James Alouis Roth, who survives of the home.
Survivors also include three sons, James Richard Roth and wife, Evie, of Belmont, Mass., Charles Barron Roth and wife , Roberta, of Battleground, Ind., and Victor Lind Roth and wife, Rhonda, of Malden; one brother, Larry Dean Smith, of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; one sister, Charlene Melba Richardson, of Forsythe, Mo., and seven grandchildren, Jennie Marie Dickens, Bethany Lind, James L. Christopher B., Rebecca Clarissa and Charles Ryan Roth and Kara McConniel.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today, Friday, March 18, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 19, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Stan Wood officiating.
Burial will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden.
