Dortha Lucille Vannasdall, 73, of Campbell, Mo., died Tuesday, March 15, 2005, at her residence.
Born Nov. 15, 1931, in Holcomb, Mo., daughter of the late Walter and Cordia Peters Craig, she was a member of the Pleasant Plains Baptist Church in Pleasant Plains, Ark.
On Oct. 23, 1948, in Rector, Ark., she married Truly Garfield Bridges, who preceded her in death on April 20, 1995. She later married A.C. Vannasdall on Feb. 14, 2002, who survives of the home.
Survivors also include two daughters, Beverly Tate, of Batesville, Ark., and Diane Martin, of Hot Springs, Ark.; one son, James Garfield Bridges, of Greenbrier, Ark.; two brothers, David Craig, of Rockford, Ill., and Donnie Craig, of Freeport, Texas; three sisters, Juanita Vannasdall, of Campbell and Nancy Pohl and Peggy Keyes, both of Rockford, Ill.; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Garland Craig; three sisters, Edna Harrah, Irene Denny and Pauline Craig and one grandson, Jeremy Ward Hart.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today, Thursday, March 17, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden, Mo.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 18, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with Dan Hargrave officiating.
