Ione Rogers, 94, of Steele, Mo., died Monday, March 14, 2005, at National Health Care in Kennett.
Born Nov. 4, 1910, in Tennessee, daughter of the late William Earl and Beulah Wright Flanagan, she was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Steele.
She married Lewis Rogers, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Edna Lou Rogers; four brothers, Glenn, Robert, Earl and Jay Flanagan and two sisters, Thelma Atkins and Bernice Johnson.
Survivors include one son, Don Rogers and wife, Sharon, of Steele; one daughter, Patricia Counts, of Conyers, Ga.; two grandsons, Barry Rogers, of Paragould, Ark., and Brian Rogers, of Kennett; two granddaughters, Kristin Counts, of Atlanta, Ga. and Kathy Counts, of Italy and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, March 18, at the First Baptist Church in Steele.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 18, at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele with the Rev. Jim Mousie officiating.
Bradshaw Powell Funeral Home of Steele is in charge of arrangements.
