Born July 30, 1921, in Cardwell, Mo., son of the late Daniel Marion Goldsmith and Alice Leona Stokes, he was a U.S. Navy veteran and a local business owner. He was a member of the American Legion.
On Sept. 28, 1940, in Kennett, he married Mildred Ellen Kinnard, who survives of the home.
Survivors also include six sons, Rick Burrow and wife, Shera, of Caruthersville, Mo., Gary Paul Burrow and wife, Linda, Butch Burrow and wife, Carolyn and Dean Burrow and wife, Phyllis, all of Malden, Joe Burrow and wife, Sharon, of Blytheville, Ark., and Randy Burrow and wife, Kathy, of Jefferson City, Mo.; four daughters, Lisa Cook and husband, David, of Kennett, Sue Cross and husband, Terry and Linda J. Burrow, all of Malden and Patty Gray and husband, Weldon, of San Angelo, Texas; one brother, Doyle Burrow, of Flint, Mich.; one sister, Grace Spears, of Kennett; 25 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by five daughters, Maryland Jolene , Deloris June, Brenda Kay, Connie Faye and a baby girl Burrow; one son, Gerald Don Burrow; two grandsons, Andrew Gray and Tyler Frey and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today, Tuesday, March 15, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Malden with the Rev. Dale Shoup officiating.
Burial was in the Mr. Gilead Cemetery at Clarkton, Mo.
