He married Lawanda Adams June 1, 1946, in Paragould.
Mr. Zolman was a retired Radio and TV Technician.
He received a medical discharge in 1943 from the U.S. Navy while serving in World War II. In July of 1957 he joined the Arbyrd Baptist Church and served as Junior Boys Sunday School teacher from October 1957 until his confinement on March 2, 2002. He was an ordained Deacon, 32 degree Mason, a member of the Hornersville Masonic Lodge No. 215 AF and AM and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter No. 523, in Hornersville, Mo.
Survivors include his wife, Lawanda Zolman, of Arbyrd; one brother, George Jr. Zolman; three sisters-in-law, Patricia Zolman, Helen Zolman and Virginia Koster; several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Doyne and J.D. Zolman and two sisters, Glennis Watson and Gladys Spillers.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 10, 2005, at the First Baptist Church in Arbyrd with the Rev. Alan Cureton officiating.
Burial was in the Linwood Cemetery at Paragould, Ark.
Serving as pallbearers were Kenny Sikes, Neal Smith, Darrell Lawless, Eric Robinson, Larry Petty, Tink (Lewis) Richardson, Wally Brown, Glen Anderson, J.D. Collins, Ronnie Brannum, Jim Burgess and Donnie Mac West.
Honorary pallbearers were Deacons of the Arbyrd Baptist Church, Men's Sunday School Class, Members of the Masonic Lodge and Eastern Star.
