Juanita Ophelia Henderson, 81, of Kennett, died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2005, in St. Louis.

Born April 5, 1923, in Tahlequah, Okla., a daughter of the late Virgil Roy and Lillie Lou Dearman Stacy, she was a member of the Calvary Apostolic Church in Kennett.

Survivors include her husband, Lloyd Henderson of Kennett; one son, Rev. David L. Henderson and wife, Royce Ann; two daughters, Shirley McCoy of Fortuna, Calif. and Donna West of Kennett; six brothers, Silas Stacy of Mounds, Okla., G.C. "Short" Stacy, Omar Stacy and Eugene Stacy, all of Okemah, Okla., Roy Stacy of Morris, Okla., and Billy Stacy of Okmulgee, Okla.; two sisters Wanda Wilbourn and Oma Edwards, both Okemah; seven grandchildren, Cheryl Eilers of Rio Dell, Calif., Diana McCoy of Weott, Calif., Shane Henderson of Stillwater, Okla, Michael Muncy of Council Grove, Kans., Todd Henderson of Olive Branch, Miss., Lavona Walters and Christine Adams, both of Kennett; six great-grandchildren, Samantha Eilers, Sabrina Eilers, Sheldon Eilers, Elisha McCoy, Michaela Walters and Caleb Muncy.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Elmer; one daughter, Dora and one grandson, Duane McCoy.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, March 3, at the United Pentecostal Church in Okemah with the Revs. Kenneth Stacy and David Shatwell officiating.

Burial will be in Rock Creek Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Todd Henderson, Shane Henderson, Michael Muncy, Rob Walters, Ray Stacy and Billy Stacy.
