Janette Lathom Grover, 81, formerly of Sikeston, Mo., died Thursday, March 3, 2005, at the Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee, Mo.

Born Nov. 25, 1923, in Caruthersville, Mo., daughter of the late Bennie and Eva Hamra, she was founder and a owner of the Accent Shop and a member of the St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Sikeston.

She married John R. "Bud" Lathom in Sikeston, who preceded her in death in 1979 and she later married Courtney Grover at Bay City, Texas., who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Dunn and Donna Hamra.

Survivors include two sisters, Sadie Lee Raschid, of Fort Madison, Iowa and Sherry Henderson, of Springfield, Mo.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 9, at the H.S. Smith Funeral Home in Caruthersville.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 9, at the H.S. Smith Funeral Home Chapel.
