Ruby Mae Franks, 75, of Caruthersville, Mo., died Saturday, March 5, 2005, at the Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti, Mo.
Born Feb. 3, 1930, in Arkansas, daughter of the late George and Leona White Abbott, she was a waitress.
On Aug. 30, 1947, in Caruthersville, she married Herman Franks, who survives.
Survivors also include two sons, Lester Franks, of Kinnar, WY., and Herman Allen Franks, of Caruthersville; three grandchildren, Charity Vaughn, of Hayti, Faith Babcock, of Caruthersville, Mo., and Luke Franks, of DeSoto, Miss., and five great-grandchildren, Allison Tillman, Kaitlyn and Dylan Babcock and Hunter and Hannah Vaughn.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 6, at the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel in Hayti with the Rev. Jim Pilcher officiating.
Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery at Hayti.
Pallbearers were Jamie Vaughn, Richard Babcock, William Baker and Jason Phelps.
