Mary Gladys Kennedy, 89, of Campbell, Mo., died Monday, March 7, 2005, at the Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Ark.
Born April 16, 1915, in Tiptonville, Tenn., daughter of the late Charlie Sr., and Sallie McBride Hill, she was a homemaker and was employed at Vancils IGA. She was a member of the Campbell Church of Christ.
On Dec. 25, 1946, in Kennett, she married Clyde Kennedy, who preceded her in death on June 21, 1979. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Irene Ware and one brother, Charlie Hill, Jr.
Survivors include one nephew, Buddy Mack Hill and wife, Mary Lou, of Campbell, Mo., and two nieces, Emma Kathryn Holton, of Memphis, Tenn., and Laura Sue Rothwell and husband, Don, of Aiken, S.C.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today, Tuesday, March 8, at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell, Mo.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 9, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with Bros. Albert Gardner and C.O. Evans officiating.
Burial will follow at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Campbell.
