Mary Lee Bridges, 72, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., formerly of Kennett, died Tuesday, March 1, 2005, at Lakeland, Tenn.

Born July 19, 1932, in Broseley, Mo., she was a homemaker and had worked at the Bootheel State School. She was member of the South Poplar Bluff General Baptist Church.

In 1951, she married Andy Bridges, who preceded her in death on April 3, 1985.

Survivors include two sons, Mike Bridges, of Lakeland and John Bridges, of Festus, Mo.; three brothers, Charles Pierce, of Broseley, Ivan Pierce, of Poplar Bluff and Kenneth Pierce, of Cottonwood, Ariz.; three sisters, Magdaline "Peggy" Deen and Barbara Guess, both of Poplar Bluff and Maxine Chilton, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and two grandchildren, Taylor and Sarah Bridges, both of Festus.

Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today, Thursday, March 3, at the White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk, Mo.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 4, at the White-Sanders Funeral Home with the Rev. David Ross officiating.

Burial will follow at the Bernie Cemetery in Bernie, Mo.
