Tierra Makayla Rushing

Shane and Melissa Rushing of Kennett announce the birth of their daughter, Tierra Makayla, born Jan. 21, 2005, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

She weighed 6 pounds and five ounces and was 18 1/2 inches long.

She is the granddaughter of Harold and Sandra Rushing of Kennett and George and Sharon Hall of Wardell, Mo., and the great-granddaughter of Edna Mills of Kennett, Muriel Buchanan of Wardell and Louise Rushing of Cooter, Mo.

She is welcomed home by her big brother Skyler.
