Stella Mae Davis Burk, 95, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2005, at Westwood Hills Health Care Center in Poplar Bluff.
Born March 30, 1909, in Qulin, Mo., she was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff.
On Nov. 6, 1926, in Piggott, Ark., she married Joe Edward Davis, who preceded her in death on Sept. 26, 1982. She later married Harl Burk on April 19, 1986 in Poplar Bluff. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Alvina Davis and Pearl Metcalf; three brothers, Irvin , Euan and Orville Huff; two grandsons, Keith and Kevin Sentell and one great-granddaughter, Christina Sentell.
Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Stefanic and husband, Virgil, of St. Louis, Mo. and Eleanor Westbrook and husband, Jim, of Qulin; one son, Billy Joe Davis wand wife, Eula Mae, of Jonesboro, Ark.; five grandchildren, Rodery and Darwin Davis, Susan Holdaway and David and Paul Stefanic; 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-granddaughters.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 1, at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell, Mo.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 1, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Gilbert officiating.
Burial will follow at the Qulin Cemetery.
