Terrance Wayne "Terry" Joyner, 41, of Caruthersville, Mo., died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2005, at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti, Mo.
Born Jan. 16, 1964, in Hayti, son of Joe A. and Joyce L. Fry Joiner, he was a Caruthersville Middle School assistant football coach and along with his dad was owner and operator of Big Joe's Downtown Service Center in Caruthersville.
On Oct. 16, 1984, in Caruthersville, he married Betty Ann Hays, who survives of the home.
Survivors also include two daughters, Summer Ann Joyner, of Steele, Mo., and Trista Nicole Russell, of Friendship, Tenn.; one son, Joseph Aaron Joyner, of Caruthersville; his mother and father, Joyce and Joe Joyner, of Caruthersville; one sister, Cindy Riggs, of Caruthersville and two grandchildren, Keeley Michele Joyner, of Steele and Hailey Beth Russell, of Friendship.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today, Tuesday, Feb. 22, at the Temple Baptist Church in Caruthersville with the Rev. Jim Pilcher officiating.
Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery at Hayti.
Pallbearers were Hank Clayton, Corey Miller, Gary, Austin and Josh Riggs and Ron Warren.
John W. German Funeral Home of Hayti was in charge of arrangements.
