Steven Lloyd Cecil, 47, of Kennett, died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2005.
Born Jan. 30, 1958, in Hayti, Mo., son of Ronald Gene and Helen Ruth Harris Cecil, he was a factory worker and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his father and step-mother, Gene and Elsie Cecil, of Hayti; three brothers, Ronald Cecil and wife, Sherry, of Ellsinore, Mo., Robert Cecil, of Kennett and David Cecil and wife, Carmen, of Ft. Benning, Ga.; two sisters, Terri Cowgill and husband, Larry, of Kennett and Karen Greenway and husband, Kevin, of Caruthersville, Mo.; one step-brother, Greg Reed and wife, April, of Senath, Mo. and his grandmother, Marie Bell, of Lafe, Ark.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Cecil.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16, at the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel in Hayti with Dr. Mike Melton officiating.
Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery at Hayti.
Pallbearers were Roger Berry, David Brazier, Danny and Richard Cecil, Luther Jackson Jr., and Lawrence Chidester.
