Isaac Jesse "Ike" Mungle, 89, of Kennett, died Friday, Feb. 11, 2005, at NHC Health Care in Kennett.

Born April 27, 1915, at Kennett, a son of the late Grover Cleveland and Amy Jane Page Mungle, he was a farmer, member of Ely Baptist Church and the Kennett Masonic Lodge 58 AF&AM.

On Jan. 12, 1935, in Piggott, Ark., he married Jettive Ruth Crawford who preceded him in death March 7, 1996. On July 2, 1996, he married Clara Horton, who survives.

Other survivors include one daughter, Linda Crawford of Little Rock, Ark., four sons, Burlin Mungle of Campbell, Mo., Gary Mungle and Mike Mungle of Kennett and Ronnie Mungle of St. Charles, Mo., one sister, Margie Moore of Kennett and daughter-in-law, Glenda Mungle of St. Charles.

He was preceded in death by one son, Terry Mungle; grandson, Dewayne Mungle; four brothers, T.M., Jim, Milford and G.C. Mungle; four sisters Etta Masters Carr, Lillie Crawford, Ora Cooper and Minnie Bell Mungle.

Visitation is 6 p.m. today, Sunday, Feb. 13, at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Kennett.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 14, at Bradshaw Chapel in Kennett with the Revs. Don Slatton and James Epps officiating.

Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett.
