Roy Lugene Perkins, 70, of Arbyrd, Mo., died Friday, Feb. 4, 2005, at the Senath Nursing Center in Senath, Mo.
Born January 19, 1935, in Okane, Ark., son of the late David and Elizabeth Wiseman Perkins.
On Nov. 2, 1955, in Paragould, Ark., he married Charlene Smith, who survives.
Survivors also include two sons, Roy Perkins and wife, Karon, of Senath and Tracy Perkins and wife, Linda, of Cardwell; three daughters, Patricia Espinosa and husband, Gabriel, of Senath, Carla Russell and husband, Jeff, of Senath and Teresa Walker of Senath; one brother, Leonard Boyd of Neelyville, Mo.; two sisters, Laura Keelin of Jacksonville, Ark. and Juanita Copeland of Jacksonville, Ark.; 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Jesse Perkins, two sisters, Melbourine Boyd and Levada Copeland and step-father, Wilburn Boyd.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 6, at the McDaniel Chapel in Senath with Rev. Bill Newman and Rev. Kevin Sullivan officiating.
Burial was held in the Silverdale Cemetery near Arbyrd.
McDaniel Funeral Home of Senath was in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Joseph, Chris and Brandon Perkins, Freddie Williams, Bradley and Chad Johnson.
Honorary pallbearers were Steve Leadbetter, Kent Damron and Utah Henson.
