Naomi Laster, 88, of Hayti, Mo., died Saturday, Jan. 29, 2005, at her residence.
She was born Sept. 9, 1916, in Decatur County, Tenn.
Survivors include five daughters, Nellie Arnold, Brenda Jerrolds and Shelbia Mitchell, all of Savannah, Tenn., Teresa Newman, of Hayti and Linda Windham, of Wardell, Mo.; two sons, Charles Laster, of Dickson, Tenn. and Ricky Laster, of Hayti; two sisters, Anadean Privett and Opal Zawn, both of St. Louis, Mo.; 22 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by two sons, James and Terry Laster and two brothers, Billy and Elmo Welch.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today, Tuesday, Feb.1, at the Dry Bayou Baptist Church with the Rev. Donny Hutchison officiating.
Burial was in the Dry Bayou Cemetery.
Pallbearers were grandsons.
Bradshaw Funeral Home of Kennett was in charge of arrangements.
