Charles E. Pruett, 75, of Greenville, Mo., died Monday, Jan. 24, 2005, at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Ark.

Born June 21, 1929, in Campbell, Mo., son of the late Walter Earsel and Edith Pearl Triplett Pruett, he was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in the Korean Conflict. He was employed by the Buick Division of General Motors in Flint, Mich. and a member of the GM United Auto Workers Union.

On Aug. 21, 1948, in Piggott, he married Ruby Maxine Williams, who preceded him in death on April 14, 1998.

Survivors include one sister, Barbara Summers and husband, D.W., of Malden, Mo.; one sister-in-law, Anna Jordan, of Greenville; three aunts, Glenda Snider and Thelma Pruett, both of Malden and Floy Higgenbotham, of Texas and one uncle, Lawrence Dees, of Piggott.

Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 27, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Malden with the Rev. David Wigger officiating.

Burial will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden.
