Karen Sue Robinson Taylor, 60, of East Brainerd, died Monday, Jan. 24, 2005.
Born Jan. 2, 1945, in Caruthersville, Mo., daughter of Harold and Hettie Robinson, she worked with the mentally challenged in Catoosa County. She was a member of the John Calvin Presbyterian Church and the Eastern Star.
She married Joe J. Taylor, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Jo Taylor.
Survivors include one son, Jay Taylor and wife, Sandra, of Ooltewah, Tenn.; one daughter, Deborah Taylor Frey Myers and husband, Samuel, of Athens, Tenn.; one sister, Mary Ann Hamlett and husband, Edward, of Katy, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Jack N. Taylor, of St. Louis, Mo.; father-in-law, Jack L. Taylor, of Caruthersville; four grandsons, Dustin Taylor and Brad Parkerson, both of Ooltewah and Stephen and Eric Frey, both of Athens and three granddaughters, Meagan Frey, of Athens and Whitney and Destiny Taylor, both of Ooltewah.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today, Wednesday, Jan. 26, at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory of Rossville, Ga.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 27, at the South Crest Chapel with the Rev. Junior Bryson officiating.
Burial will follow at the Anderson Memorial Gardens.
