Sue Lemonds, 66, of Kennett, died Sunday, Jan. 23, 2005, at her residence.
Born November 15, 1938, in Farina, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Merle and Olive Starkey Markley.
On September 14, 1961, in Piggott, Ark., she married Jack Lemonds, who survives.
Survivors also include two sons, Brent Ready and wife, Sharon, of Mason, Ill., and Lance Lemonds and wife, Donna of Kennett, Mo.; two daughters, Julie Cupples and husband, David, of Kennett, Mo. and Tammy Matous and husband, Mike, of Walls, Miss.; two brothers, Kenneth Markley, of Springdale, Ark. and John Markley, of Farina, Ill.; eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Donald Markley.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., today, Tuesday, Jan. 25, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26 at the Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett with Rev. Eddie Roden officiating.
Pallbearers are Brent Ready, Lance Lemonds, David Cupples, Mike Matous, John Markley and Kenneth Markley.
