Glen Ricks, 87, of Campbell, Mo., died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2005, at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Ark.
Born Jan. 19, 1917, in Campbell, son of the late Claude Earl and Rachel E. Allen Ricks, he was retired from Missouri Department of Transportation and a member of the Assembly of God Church in Campbell.
On Aug. 8, 1936, in Campbell, he married Bernice Evelyn Broyles, who preceded him in death on May 28, 1989. Later he married Marguerite Elizabeth Brigman Southern, on Jan. 21, 1990, in Campbell, who survives.
Survivors also include one son, Larry E. Ricks, of Flower Mound, Texas; one daughter, Sue Perkins, of St. Louis, Mo.; one step-son, Arvil Southern, of Linden, Texas; one sister, Charlotte Smith, of Springfield, Mo.; three grandchildren, Larry Joe Perkins, of Troy, Mo., Steve Ricks, of Flower Mound and Elizabeth Bradish, of Chicago, Ill. and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Ray Ricks.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Friday, Jan. 21, at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Clyde Turner officiating.
Burial will follow at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Campbell.
