Robert Kyle Watson

Kyle Watson, of Key West, Florida died in his sleep after a long illness. He was born in 1959. He has lived in Sikeston, Kennett and Blue Springs, Missouri, Miami and Key West, Florida. He graduated from Sikeston High School. Kyle worked as a surveyor in Miami and was proud to have helped in the building of Miami's Metro Rail.

Kyle was loved by his family and friends for his generous spirit and his sensitive and loving nature.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Nevelle Massey and Leonard and Almeda Watson of Kennett, Missouri, and his sister, Debra Kay Watson.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Lee Watson, of Key West, Florida; his father, Bob Watson, of Lee's Summitt, Missouri; his brother, Kent Watson, of Ramstein AFB, Germany; his grandmother, Althea Massey, of Kennett, Missouri; his aunt, Ann Lorraine of Key West; two nephews, David Meek, of Richmond, Va., and Chris Watson, of Ramstein AFB, Germany and one niece, Jessica Watson, of Ramstein AFB, Germany. Kyle will also be missed by his many aunts, uncles and cousins in MIssouri.

A memorial service to celebrate Kyle's life will be held in Key West, Florida later this month and will be announced at a later time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to benefit the tsunami victims can be made to the Red Cross International Response Fund at www.redcross.org.
