Born March 31, 1941, in Holcomb, Mo., son of Virgie Velma Maddux and the late Arnold Laverne Hatton, he was a furniture mover and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include two daughters, Lisa Hatton, of Ellsinore, Mo. and Darlene Hatton, of Malden, Mo.; six sons, James, Robert and Harry Hatton, all of Campbell, Johnny Hatton, of Kentucky, Norman E. Hatton, of Lilbourn, Mo. and Michael Hatton, of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; his mother, Virgie Velma Hatton; three brothers, Billy, Robert and Larry Hatton; four sisters, Betty Lou Lunquist, Sue Etta Harris, Patricia Miller and Nadine Wilkerson; 28 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Cornellia Hatton; two brothers, William and Donnie Hatton and one sister, Dorris Mikel.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 17, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Campbell with the Rev. Travis Lambert officiating.
Burial was in the Stanfield Cemetery at Clarkton, Mo.
