Marie Herrington, 91, of Kennett, died Friday, Jan. 7, 2005, at National Health Care in Kennett.

Born April 13, 1913, in Madison, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Frank and Hannah Munderich Gowan.

On July 1, 1933, in DeSoto, Mo., she married Joseph R. Herrington, who preceded her in death on July 29, 1992. She was also preceded in death by brothers and sisters.

Surviors include one son, David Herrington, of Fairfax, Va.; two grandchildren, Loren and Stacy and one great-grandchild, Jacob.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Scott Andrews officiating.

Burial will follow at the Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett.

Pallbearers are Phil Gurley, Bud Broadway, W.H. Tackeberry, Tim Simmons, David Tippen, Rex Jeffress and Tommy Noah.
