Winifred Faye Oliver, 87, of Campbell, Mo., died Friday, Jan. 7, 2005, at the Ridgeview Nursing Home in Malden, Mo.,
Born July 12, 1917, in Malden, daughter of the late Ellis and Clara Ray Claussen, she was owner and operator of a grocery store, member of the General Baptist Church in Campbell and a member of the Women's Club.
On May 10, 1932, in St. Francis, Ark., she married Avery Wilbourn Oliver, who preceded her in death on Jan. 24, 1986. She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Mildred Rea, Lorene and Juanita Mae Claussen and four brothers, Hadley, Pete, Pete and Ray Boy Claussen.
Survivors include two daughters, Ella Rose Shepherd and husband, Stephen, of Nashville, Tenn., and Shery Teal and husband, Fred, of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; one brother, Wayne Claussen and wife, Betty, of Ava. Ill.; three sisters, Wilma Claussen and Velma Belt, both of Campbell and Vera Mae Warren, of Dexter, Mo., and three grandchildren, Juli Smith and Kristi Teal, both of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and Zachary Nelson, of Qulin, Mo.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 10, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Campbell with the Rev. Ronnie Stevens officiating.
Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery at Campbell.
