Lucille May, 83, of Cardwell, Mo., died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2004 at her residence.
Born June 18, 1921, in Greene County, Ark., daughter of the late Chesley and Victoria Wells, she was retired from Ed White Shoe Factory and Frolic Footwear.
Survivors include one son, James Edward "Eddie" and wife, Kathy Hannah, of Senath; one daughter, Glenda Sue Nelson of Peoria, Ill.; one sister, Martha Jane and husband, "Fletch: Fletcher, of Decatur, Ill.; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Houston Hannah; her second husband, Charles May; five brothers, Kenneth, Leland, Edward, Harold and Eugene Wells and five sisters, Eunice Rule, Lois Wells, Hazel Jackson Greenway, Inez Helm and Bernice Rowe.
Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until service time, Friday, Dec. 31, at the Mitchell Funeral Home in Paragould, Ark.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 31, at the Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel with Kenneth Hargraves officiating.
Burial will follow in the Cardwell Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers will be Nick, Ron and Mike Weldon and David, Lee and Mike Wells.
