Mamie Driskill, 84, of Kennett, died Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2004, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.
Born Sept. 12, 1920, in Etowah, Ark., daughter of the late Marion F. and Ida Sifford Richardson. She was a member of the Ely Baptist Church in Kennett.
On Sept. 12, 1936, she married Roman Driskill, who preceded her in death on Feb. 26, 1988. She was also preceded in death by one son, Earnest Driskill; two brothers, Ralph and Earl Richardson and two sisters, Opal Glover and Ruby Poindexter.
Survivors include one daughter, Clorita Hardy, of Blytheville, Ark.; one brother, Milford Richardson, of Rolla, Mo.; a twin sister, Amey Harris, of Woodland, Calif.; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 26, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 26, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Don Slatton officiating.
Burial will follow at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett.
Pallbearer will be Jim Akers, Brad Luce, Carol Moore, Troy Rebstock, Dean Taylor and Maurice Wallace.
