Euquilla Johnson

Euquilla Ann Johnson, 85, of Kennett, died Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2004, at National Health Care in Kennett.

Born April 30, 1919, in Senath, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Thomas Jefferson and Nora Helm Bolin.

On Aug. 10, 1936, she married Ted Johnson, who preceded her in death on June 13, 1985. She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Nathan, William, Abra and Tommy Bolin and one sister, Nadine Borchardt.

Survivors include one daughter, June Harkey and husband, Paul, of Kennett; one grandchild, Glen Harkey, of Weatherford, Texas; one great-grandchild, Melissa Ann Harkey, of Weatherford; special friend, Aileen Smotherman and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 17, at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett with the Rev. Lonny Mittag officiating.

McDaniel Funeral Home of Kennett was in charge of arrangements.
