Hazel Josephine Taylor, 88, of Caruthersville, Mo., died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2004, at Pemiscot Memorial Health Systems in Hayti, Mo.
Born April 13, 1916, in West Plains, Mo., daughter of the late Fred K. and Hazel Frances Kerrens Nations, she was a member of Eastern Star and the First Baptist Church.
On Dec. 25, 1934, in Caruthersville, she married Jack Laster Taylor, who survives of the home.
Survivors also include one son, Jack N. Taylor and wife, Debbie, of Desloge, Mo.; one brother, J.C. Nations, of Louisville, Ky.; one sister, Charlene McMillan, of New Brunswick, Canada; one half-sister, Xyla Gantzert, of St. Louis, Mo. and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Joseph Jay Taylor and Jeffrey Fred Taylor and one brother, Fred "Buddy" Nations.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
