Lovie Estell Ward, 72, of Leachville, Ark., died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2004, at her residence.
Born in Leachville, daughter of the late Elmer Gooch, she was retired from Randoll Textron in Blytheville, Ark. and had been a member of the Happy Corner Assembly of God near Leachville. She was presently a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Leachville.
Survivors include one son, Rev. John Elmer Ward and wife, Kristen, of Warren, Ill.; one daughter, Judith Diane Love and husband, Allen, of Leachville; two sisters; Gretha Bennett, of Marshall, Mich. and Lavonda Walker, of Cardwell, Mo.; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ephriam Ward; one son, Ephriam Ward, Jr.; one daughter, Cynthia Jane Ward and one grandson, Allen Jerome Love.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today, Thursday, Dec. 2, at the Howard Funeral Home in Leachville.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3, at the Howard Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Donnie Morrison officiating.
Burial will follow at the Pine Log Cemetery near Brookland, Ark.
Pallbearers are Vaughn Love, Dexter Milligan, Michael Walls, Michael Key, Johnny Ward and David Ward.
Honorary pallbearers are Billy Carter and Jace Cagle.
