Louis Curtis Brown, 55, of Kennett, died Thursday, Nov. 25, 2004, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Born May 16, 1948, in Mound Bayou, Miss., son of Rosa May Brown and the late John Henry Hall, he was a member of the Lighthouse Church of Jesus Christ.
In 1972, he married Glady Hendrix.
Survivors include four sons, Chris Hendrix and Tracy Brown, both of Cape Girardeau and Prentiss Brown and Joey Brown and wife, Priscilla, all of Kennett; two daughters, "Cat" Jennifer Walters, of St. Louis, Mo. and Latisha "Tish" Brown, of Caruthersville, Mo.; eight brothers, Precious Brown, of Jefferson City, Mo., Amos Hall, of Caruthersville and Henry, Ricky, Virgil, Billy and David Finley, all of Kennett; four sisters, Queenola Swain, Roberta, Brenda and Betty Finley, all of Kennett and 19 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Robin Latura Brown.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with Bishop W.H. Johnson, Sr. officiating.
Burial will follow at the Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett.
Pallbearers are Prentiss, Joey and Tracy Brown, Billy and Don Finley and Chris Hendrix.
Honorary pallbearers are Edron Watkins, Rolan Johnson, Edward Bragg and Waymon Manuel.
