Nora Elizabeth Fears, 85, of Kennett, formerly of Hornersville and Senath, Mo., died Saturday, Nov. 20, 2004, at National Health Care in Kennett.
Born May 19, 1919, in Hornersville, daughter of the late Solon B. and Mary Syrina Lewis Forsythe, she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Senath.
On Feb. 7, 1946, in Cardwell, Mo., she married John Wayne Fears, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Terry and Donald Fears and three brothers, Lace, Rivers and Lester Forsythe.
Survivors include one daughter, Sherry Kelley and husband, Terry, of Senath; one son, Roy Phillips and wife, Sarah, of Leachville, Ark.; one sister, Pat Rauls, of Senath; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today, Tuesday, Nov. 23, at the First Baptist Church in Senath with the Revs. Doug Clinton and Derek Combs officiating.
Burial was in the Lulu Cemetery at Senath.
Bradshaw-Emerson Funeral Home of Hornersville was in charge of arrangements.
