James Earl Spaulding, 68, of Wentzville, Mo., formerly of Gideon, Mo., died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2004 at Park Lane Nursing Center in Wentzville.

Born April 11, 1936, he was a son of the late James B. and Ruby Mae Pigg Spaulding. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Wayne Edward Spaulding.

Survivors include four sister, Billie Jean Kemper of Carrolton, Ill., Mary Angie Smothers of O'Fallon, Mo., Judith Ann Justice of Arnold, Mo., and Phyllis Geradline Tuckson of Florissant, Mo.

Funeral services were 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, at Bradshaw Funeral Home of Malden.

Burial was in Stanfield Cemetery at Clarkton.
