James Perry

James Dwight Perry, 60, of Caruthersville, Mo., died Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2004, at Hayti, Mo.

Born March 26, 1944, in Summertown, Tenn., son of the late Elzie Pascal and Amanda Caldonia Sudduth Perry, he was a U.S. Army veteran, employed by Broadway Music Company and a member of the Eagles Club.

On Oct. 23, 1996, in Caruthersville, he married Susie Six, who survives of the home.

Survivors also include four sons, Charles Perry, of Summertown, Tenn., James Greenway, of Lawrenceburg, Tenn. and David and Jason Perry, both of Braggadocio, Mo.; three daughters, Jane Hawkins, of Nashville, Tenn., Stela Dildine, of Steele, Mo. and Carla Boyd, of Braggadocio and 10 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, at the H.S. Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Caruthersville with the Rev. Kenny Lee officiating.

Burial was in the Maple Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Rori Rodgers, Mike Weddington, Preston Shelby, Rick Young, Bryan Shannon and Carl Meyer.
