Dora Sullivan

Dora Sullivan, 86, of Hayti, Mo., died Thursday, Oct. 21, 2004, at her residence.

Born May 13, 1918, in Joiner, Ark., she was a homemaker and a member of the North 6th, Church of God in Christ in Hayti.

She married Chester Sullivan, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one son, Jackie L. Sullivan.

Survivors include three sons, Franklin D. Sullivan, of Memphis, Tenn., MacArthur Sullivan, of Louisville, Ky. and Roy C. Sullivan, of Saginaw, Mich.; four daughters, Geraldine Russell, of Saginaw and Allean Sullivan Winda, Shirley Reel and Jacqueline Sullivan, all of Hayti; four sisters, Lillian, Bertha, Dorothy and Lorene; two brothers, Jimmy and Claude; a granddaughter, Ronda Sullivan Ford, of Jackson, Miss; 29 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 25, at the Faith Temple Church of God in Christ in Hayti with Pastor Nathaniel A. Ellis officiating.

Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery at Hayti.

Pallbearers were Wesley Sullivan, Winston Ford, Cecil Winda, Tyrone Bullock, Willie Thomas and Robert Oliver.

John W. German Funeral Home of Hayti was in charge of arrangements.
