Smith

Michael D. Smith, 59, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., died Monday, Nov. 1, 2004, at his residence.

Born June 29, 1945, in Centrailia, Ill., son of the late James Mearl and Sylvia Blanche Bradley Smith, he was a moving contractor and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include one daughter, Sonia Smith Wheaton and husband, Randal, of Jonesboro, Ark.; three brothers, Kenny Smith, of Seymour, Ind., Vernon Smith, of Sikeston, Mo., and Doug Smith, of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; one sister, Shirley Mallard, of Poplar Bluff, Mo. and one grandson, Nathan Wheaton, of Jonesboro.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Wednesday, Nov. 3, at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell, Mo.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 4, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Shane Mallard officiating.

Burial will follow at the Gravel Hill Cemetery in St. Francis, Ark.
