Margaret Fern Eubanks, 88, of Arnold, Mo., died Friday, Oct. 29, 2004, at Woodland Manor Nursing Home in Arnold.

Born Oct. 11, 1916, in Zalma, Mo., daughter of the late Noah Monroe and Dolly Sherman Abernathy, she was a Jehovah's Witness.

On Nov. 13, 1936, in Corning, Ark., she married James Melvin Eubanks, who preceded her in death on June 25, 1991. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Daryln Kaye Eubanks and one brother, Jack Abernathy.

Survivors include one son, James Eubanks, of St. Louis, Mo.; two daughters, Faye Eickmyer, of Daytona Beach, Fla. and Michele English, of Oklahoma City, Okla.; one brother, W.H. Abernathy, of Sikeston, Mo.; one sister, Faye WadeKing, of Cape Girardeau, Mo.;, eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. today, Tuesday, Nov. 2, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Malden, Mo.

Burial was in the Memorial Park Cemetery at Malden.
