Louise Padfield

Louise Laverne Padfield, 89, of Chesterfield, Mo., formerly of Clarkton, Mo., died Saturday, Oct. 30, 2004, at Delmar Gardens Nursing Home in Chesterfield.

Born May 24, 1915, in Kennett, daughter of the late Claude Eugene and Reba Mae Lincoln Jacques, she was of the Church of Christ faith.

On Oct. 14, 1937, she married Athel W. "Todd" Padfield, who preceded her in death on Jan. 8, 1992. She was also preceded in death by one son, Jimmy Richard Cumpton; one sister, Betty Lamar; five brothers, Willard "Bus", Clyde, Robert Lee, Glenn and Gene Wayne Jacques and two grandchildren, Jeffrey Carl and Kevin Alan Graham.

Survivors include two daughters, Patsy Joan Conrad and husband, Bill, of Ballwin, Mo. and Marilyn Kay Grone and husband, Bill, of Manchester, Mo.; two sons, Joe Wayne Padfield, of Manchester and Danny Lee Padfield and wife, Kris, of Rogersville, Mo.; two sisters, Geraldine Emery, of Collierville, Tenn. and Maxine Bomer, of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today, Tuesday, Nov. 2, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden, Mo.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 3, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden.
