Born Dec. 14, 1917, in Marvel, Ala., son of the late Jim and Leona Williams Woodham, he was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served in WWII and a farmer. He was a lifetime member of the VFW.
On Nov. 26, 1942, in Blytheville, Ark., he married Irene Martin, who survives.
Survivors also include one son, Bud Woodham, of Malden; one daughter, Glenna Jones, of Millington, Tenn.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Billie Stanley, Opal Wilson and Mildred Woodham and two brothers, Gene Woodham and an infant brother.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 1, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Malden with the Rev. Richard Blagg officiating.
Burial with military rites was held at the Rosewood Cemetery in Malden.
