Mabel Mathews, 99, of Kennett, died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2004, at National Health Care in Kennett.
Born Jan. 23, 1905, in Eldon, Mo., daughter of the late David and Isabelle Taylor, she was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
She married Winston Mathews, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one son, A.J. Mathews; several brothers and sisters and one grandson, David Mathews.
Survivors include one son, Frank Mathews, of Jonesboro, Ark.; one daughter, Isabel McNulty, of Kennett; five grandchildren, Diane Thomason, Brenda Tittle, Penny Northcutt and Fred and Jack Mathews; six great-grandchildren, David DiPuma, Sarah Thomason, Josh and Cheyenne Mathews, Julie Williams and Randol Tittle and one great-great-grandson, Scottie Slagle.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 28, at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett with the Rev. Paul Lanning officiating.
