Born May 3, 1933, at Catron, Mo., son of the late Dennie and Viola Blair Bratcher, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a retired farmer.
On Oct. 12, 1962, in St. Louis, he married Marie Barton who survives.
Other survivors include one son, David Ray Bratcher, of Parma; 12 daughters, Kathy Clark, of Malden, Mo., Sharon Spoon, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Estella Bates, of Tampa, Fla., Barbara Lynn, of Valley Park, Mo., Melinda Wheeler, of Dittmer, Mo., Bertha Sherritze, of Bernie, Mo., Karen Keown, of Madisonville, Ky., Rose Berend, of Arnold, Mo., Kathy Goad, of Illinois, Anita Watkins, of Festus, Mo., Mary Hunt, of New Madrid, Mo., and Millie Ghattis, of Fenton, Mo.; four sisters, Berniece Ward, of Fisk, Mo., Bertha Mae Buck, of Braggadocio, Mo., Lois Dingman, of South Dakota and Edna Ratican, of Parma; 43 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Dennis Bratcher: one brother, Phillip Bratcher and one daughter, Carol Ann Earnheart.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Tuesday, Oct. 26, at Watkins & Sons Funeral Chapel in Parma.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m Wednesday, Oct. 27, at Watkins & Sons Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Gilbert officiating.
Burial will follow at Parma City Cemetery in Parma.
