James Edward "Jamie" Smith, 49, of Cooter, Mo., died Monday, Oct. 18, 2004, at Cooter.
Born July 20, 1955, at Blytheville, Ark., son of Floy Evelyn Barron Donley of Steele, Mo., and the late Charles Edward "Pluto" Smith, he was affiliated with the Tyler Church of God and was a self-employed automobile mechanic, Precision Auto.
On May 27, 1977, in Steele, he married Sharon Threadgill who survives.
Other survivors include a brother, Larry Smith and wife, Marsha, of Blytheville.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 25, at First Baptist Church at Steele with the Revs. Jerry Chaney and Jason Anderson officiating.
Burial was in Number Eight Cemetery at Cooter.
